Project Duration: 2021-2023 (3 phases)
Key Interventions:
- Removed 14,344 cu.m sludge + 43,312 cu.m silt
- Created natural sewage treatment wetlands
- Built 2.8 km walking path
- Planted 1,800 native trees
Quantifiable Results:
🔹 Water holding capacity increased by 30.7 crore liters
🔹 150+ borewells recharged
🔹 500+ daily visitors
Challenges Overcome:
- Heavy rainfall disrupting earthwork
- 15ft deep sludge layers
- Plastic waste removal (32 tons extracted)
B. Hunsmaranahalli Lake Project

Transformational Changes:
- Desilted 22-acre lakebed (+2.35 lakh liter capacity)
- 7 new silt-trapping inlets installed
- 2,000 saplings planted (forestry + ornamental)
- Community washroom constructed
